Puzzle / Story-driven / Fragmented Narrative
You travel through an ancient mythical world, encounter all kinds of travelers who speak all kinds of languages. Through piecing up words and phrases in their voices that you managed to understand, you can slowly learn these languages, much alike solving puzzles. You will be able to talk with these travelers, understand them, and even listen to all the stories that happened afar. Yet be careful, the more you understand, the more pieces you find for the grand puzzle about the story that no traveler ever understood…
The player will meet NPCs who speak languages that they can't understand. When the player meets enough NPCs speaking that language, they will be able to solve a puzzle about the language to learn it, in turn understand what the NPCs were saying. The story gradually progresses in a fragmented narrative as the player understand more NPCs.
